Puck Motion
The physics of a puck in motion on a horizontal surface can be broken down into two basic types:
1- Linear Motion
2 - Rotational Motion
1- LINEAR MOTION - Below are side views of the three pucks in motion on a horizontal plane:

The points of interest that should be noted about the dynamics of puck movement are that:
1- Pucks experience both linear and rotational movement simultaneously.
2- Any type of hockey puck, regardless of construction or playing surface, is subject to both linear and rotational forces.
